You can take part in the Powerfest with buy-ins starting at $5,50 and thereby play in one of the 198 tournaments. This time, Party Poker even added a “Mini” edition upfront (1st – 4th September) with buy-ins of $2.20 or less. To Partypoker Group Head Tom Waters “This is poker for the people no matter the size of your bankroll.”

Since the prizepools and buy-ins are going to rise from week to week, the first week will probably be the most interesting one for beginners. How to get a $530 tournament ticket for free

Earlier this year, you were able to get a ticket that enables you to take part in the tournament in the following week after having participated in Powerfest tournaments at least four times (that week). To us that sounds like a pretty good deal, since a ticket for week four is worth at least $530 – that makes an amazing bonus. During the last two weeks, Partypoker is also going to offer sattelites so that you can qualify for the tournament series with smaller stakes. We’ll keep you posted if that deal is valid in September as well.
