Leading online poker room 888poker has welcomed German poker giant Dominik Nitsche as its latest Team 888poker ambassador. The full time professional poker player kicked off his career playing online in 2008, and has since amassed over $3 million in total winnings.

Update: Nitsche has made it to 3rd place in the World Series of Poker Event #25 Eight hand No Limit Hold’em tournament. The Germanborn professional player took home $220,657 for his $5,000 investment
in the event, which ran from June 10th – June 13th.

Enthusiastic about his latest win and upcoming tournament, he said: “There wasn’t much more I could have done today. I’m pretty excited with my third place finish.”

In 2012 he won his first World Series of Poker bracelet, taking home an impressive $654,000 after outlasting a field of 4,620 in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em tournament. Later that same year, he won a World Poker Tour title in South Africa. In 2013, he made it to the final table of the same tournament, before finishing in 4th place. He also made the final table of the WSOP Europe Main Event, finishing in 3rd place.

In 2014, Nitsche added two WSOP bracelets to his collection, after winning the WSOP National Championship with a $352,000 cash prize. He then went on to win another $1,000 NLHE tournament, becoming, at 23, the youngest player in the world to win 3 bracelets. As of 2014, his live tournament winnings exceed $4,044,244.
