German Football Star Kruse wins Poker TV-Live-Event

The German Football Star Max Kruse of Borussia Mönchengladbach will attend the big german Poker TV Show “TV Total PokerStars Night”. Kruse will be one of four celebrities who play against Showmaster Stefan Raab and the winner of an online qualifier tournament. The winner takes 50000 Euro. The show will be recorded on January 22nd. UPDATE: The show has been broadcasted – Max Kruse has won.

The german nationalplayer, who missed the world cup last summer after he was scratched from the team by coach Joachim Löw, is known for his poker skills. During the summer break he took part in a WSOP Event and made it to the final table, bringing home 27000 Euro. Kruse already wanted to attend the TV show in November, but wasn’t allowed by his team. Now, with the second half of the season still more than a week ahead, Kruse gets his chance to prove himself in the TV Event.
